Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek

Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), the third-highest mountain in the world, lies in the north-eastern part of Nepal. It is known as the “Five Great Treasures of Snow.” Since its first ascent, many travelers have dreamed of seeing the majestic Kanchenjunga peaks up close. The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek is a 23-day journey that follows remote, off-the-beaten paths and offers a rare chance to experience rich culture, untouched nature, and very few crowds.

The journey begins with sightseeing in the historic Kathmandu Valley, where ancient temples and cultural heritage sites reveal local myths and traditions. Afterward, we fly to Bhadrapur and drive to Taplejung. The trek starts through lush forests and traditional villages, reaching Lalikharka and then Khesewa, with beautiful views from Phumphe Danda. Continuing through forests, we arrive at Mamankhe and walk along the banks of the Kabeli Khola to reach Yamphudin.

Crossing suspension bridges and quiet trails, we trek to Tortong and then to Cheram through the scenic Lalung Valley and along the Simbuwa Khola. We spend two nights in Cheram for acclimatization before heading to Ramche, where we can see the impressive Yalung Glacier. After visiting the Oktang Monastery, we continue to the Yalung Base Camp.

From Cheram, the trail leads to the challenging Sele La Pass (4,480 m) and then towards Ghunsa through dense forests. After reaching Ghunsa, we trek to Kambachen and continue over rocky terrain to the Kanchenjunga Base Camp. From here, we enjoy stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range. We then retrace our steps via Lhonak and return to Ghunsa, crossing the Sumbung Khola to reach Amjilosa and Chirwa. Finally, we drive back to Bhadrapur and fly to Kathmandu, marking the end of this remarkable journey.

Everest Three Passes Trek

There lies more to the majesty of Nepal than the Himalayas; the challenging trails and the cultural aroma on the travel make up for a grand adventure. The Everest Base Camp with Three passes trek focuses on the three snowy passes, namely: Kongma La (5535m), Renjo La (5360m), and Cho La (5420m). With the excursion of the cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley UNESCO World Heritage Sites, then we head to Lukla on a short flight. Upon arrival, we’ll begin the trek to Phakding. As we battle the green and icy terrain, we arrive at the huge Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar. From Namche, we will head to the Tengboche Monastery at the Tengboche village. Walking on the trail of the Imja River leads us to Dingboche, and further leads to Chhukung. As we walk on the glacier moraines of the Nuptse glacier, we head to the Kongma La Pass (5535m). We are rewarded with a beautiful display of mountain ranges as we conquer the pass. Then, we head to the Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep and observe the awesome sunrise and sunset from Kalapatthar.

Afterward, we descend towards Dzongla and pave the way towards the Gokyo lakes. We cross the Chorten filled Cho La Pass (5420m) and walk on the Ngozumpa glacier to reach the Gokyo lakes. A short hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m) will rejuvenate us and we cross the Dudh Pokhari to reach the Renjo La Pass (5360m). We head to Lumde and as we cross the Bhote Koshi River, we again arrive at Namche Bazaar. Walking through the lush forests leads us to Lukla and a scenic flight takes us to Kathmandu where the trip shall end.

Chola Pass Trek

The Chola Pass Trek is regarded as those once in a lifetime treks that solely focuses on providing the travelers a joyful experience through the mesmerizing display of the major 8000 meter plus mountains. With a brief insight of the UNESCO world heritage site of the Kathmandu valley, we commence our trek. A quick flight takes us to Lukla and gradually move us to Phakding. Then, we enter the biggest Sherpa settlement in this region, Namche Bazaar. After acclimatizing, we head to Tengboche and en route, we visit the Tengboche monastery too. Crossing lush forest takes us to Dingboche and after a gruesome battle with snow and ice, we arrive at Lobuche. Then we head to the Everest base camp via Gorakshep. The delightful view of the horizon and the snowy mountains will invigorate you. You then hike to Kalapatthar, revered by many as the best vantage point to observe the panorama of the mountains like the Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Cho Oyu (8188m), and Ama Dablam (6856m). We head to Dzongla and later get on a trail that leads to Gokyo.

However, we must cross the Chola Pass at 5420 meters en route, which is not just physically demanding but soul-pleasing upon reaching the top. The Everest Himalayas glisten as you relish the views from the top of the pass. Gokyo village and the delightful lakes are next on the trek. The descending trail leads us to Dhole and as we cross Phortse Tenga, we once again arrive at Namche Bazaar. Similarly, walking amidst the banks of the Dudh Koshi, we reach Lukla, and from there, we get on a flight to Kathmandu where the trip ends.
