The 2N/3D tour takes you on an adventurous Jungle Safari into the lush tropical forests of Chitwan National Park. Established in 1973, it was granted the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. You’ll embark on a road journey 148km south of Kathmandu to Chitwan district. You’ll drive through the Prithvi Highway overlooking the lush forested hills and massive Trishuli River towards Chitwan valley via Hetauda. Once at Chitwan, you can check-in into your hotel at Sauraha, which lies inside Chitwan National Park. In the evening, you can take a soothing stroll around Sauraha. The next day follows a scenic Jungle Safari into the forested area of the National Park. You’ll embark on an elephant safari, or jeep safari and take a tour of the forest. Afterward, you’ll visit the nearby Crocodile breeding center and Elephant Breeding center.
In the evening, you can choose to visit the nearby Tharu village or take a stroll beside the Rapti River. The oldest national park of Nepal, it is home to the endangered species of Royal Bengal Tiger and One-Horned Rhino. If you’re lucky, you can spot the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger during the Jungle Safari. The tour concedes at Kathmandu upon your returns from Chitwan.
