The 11-day adventurous trip begins upon your arrival in Kathmandu. After initial preparation, you will take a flight northeast of Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla serves as the gateway to the Everest region. You will begin trekking at Lukla and gradually advance along the Dudh Koshi Valley. Sagarmatha National Park covers almost the entire trail. You will enter the park at Monjo and trek along the alpine forests to reach Namche Bazaar. Namche is the largest Sherpa village in the entire region. You will trek through Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorakshep en route to Everest Base Camp.

The campsite lies close to Khumbu Glacier from where Everest climbers begin their ascent of the peak. To catch the pristine sight of Mount Everest (8848m), you will have to hike all the way to Kalapatthar. From Kalapatthar (5,545m), you will take a helicopter back to Kathmandu. Along the way, you can enjoy the aerial view of the entire Everest region, including Sagarmatha National Park, Dudh Koshi Valley, Khumbu Glacier, and some of the greatest Himalayan Peaks. Further, the trek advances northward through the lush forests and vegetation of beautiful Langtang National Park. You’ll pass along many ethnic villages inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa people en route. Lama Hotel, Mundu, and Ghodatabela are of the villages you’ll cross before reaching the Langtang village. You’ll trek further deep into the mountains towards Kyanjin Gompa.

At Kyanjin Gompa you will visit to Buddhist monastery and a local cheese factory and local lifestyle. Then, you can hike to the Tserko Ri (4984m), where you can catch the panorama of the pristine local peaks including Langtang Lirung (7227m), Langtang Ri (7205m), Tserko Ri (4984m), and Yala Peak (5,500m). Afterward, you’ll retrace your and descend to the village of Sybrubensi via Langtang village, and Lama Hotel. Langtang Valley Trek is suitable for any kind of trekkers. The best seasons to visit Langtang are spring (March-June) and autumn (September-November).
